Eligibility & Participation
- Open to everyone attending Security Fest 2026.
- By entering, you agree to the Rules of Engagement and the Code of Conduct.
02 / RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
Rule(s) of Engagement
Keep it ethical and legal. That means:
- The target is any CTF challenge on the Security Fest 2026 official CTF platform.
- Do not target the CTF platform itself.
- Follow the Security Fest code of conduct.
- Follow the official rules of the CTF competition.
03 / SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Submission Requirements
To be eligible, submit a creative take on how you solved a CTF challenge. Any format works: a live demo, a rap, a skit, a video, a poem. Two rules:
- Keep it under 5 minutes.
- It has to work on stage at the closing ceremony. You don't need to be up there yourself, as long as the presentation doesn't need you.
Submissions must be sent to awards@securityfest.com.
04 / JUDGING & SCORING
Judging & Scoring
Submissions are scored 1–10 in four categories:
Technical difficulty
1–10The complexity of the solution to the challenge.
Process
1–10How creative and thorough your hunt was.
Creativity
1–10The quality, entertainment value, and originality of the presentation.
Clarity
1–10How well the presentation describes the issue.
